Tour Leg Too Long For Aircraft

Hello all. I am trying to complete the last leg of the MLB AL Tour which is KSEA-KDCA. The aircraft I chose for the tour, from the list of permitted aircraft, is the MaddogX. The problem lies in the fact that this variant of the MD-80, the MD-82, does not have the auxiliary fuel tanks that are available to later versions like the MD-88. There has been exactly one day since I started the tour that the winds aloft have been favorable so that I could do this trip and I was not able to dedicate the time to it. So my question is how do I handle this and still be in accordance with our SOP? Is there a way to allow for a fuel stop on the leg or do I need to wait for that rare day that the winds aloft are cooperative?
